Job summary

Bob’s Discount Furniture is seeking a Driver Manager to lead transportation and driver operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, safety, and cost-efficient delivery of goods. You will manage company-owned and leased assets, yard operations, and collaborator relationships across internal teams and external partners.

Ideal candidates bring deep DOT/HOS knowledge, proven leadership, and the ability to balance compliance with operational excellence in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience; 10+ years of CDL or transportation experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Demonstrated knowledge of DOT HOS rules and transportation regulations.
• Previous supervisory or management experience in transportation, logistics, or fleet operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead transportation and driver operations while ensuring full DOT compliance and safety standards.
• Oversee company-owned and leased equipment, yard and terminal operations.
• Coordinate with internal and external partners to ensure timely, safe, cost-effective delivery of goods.
• Recruit, hire, train, and develop drivers; handle performance management and corrective actions.
