Job summary

Huntley Park District in Huntley, IL is seeking a part-time Fleet Coordinator to support the Parks Department with fleet maintenance, inspections, and inventory control.

The position is IMRF eligible and reports to the Operations Support Supervisor. You will create and track work orders, manage parts, and coordinate maintenance schedules to ensure smooth operations of park vehicles and equipment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and a HS diploma or GED.
• At least two years of office experience.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience with inventory control, fleet or work order systems preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain fleet department areas.
• Create, monitor, and manage work orders and fuel systems.
• Inspect vehicles and equipment daily.
• Purchase items for Parks Department staff.
• Track and document all fleet repairs and service work.
• Coordinate preventative maintenance schedules for all vehicles and equipment.
• Maintain fleet assets lists and order parts as needed.
• Provide fleet reports and assist with data entry.
