Job summary

Thrasher Group in Omaha, NE is hiring a Fleet Administrator to support the safety, reliability, and daily operation of the fleet. You will coordinate preventative maintenance, manage DOT compliance, work with vendors, track fleet costs, and ensure vehicles, equipment, and tools are ready to work.

This fast-paced role requires strong organization, mechanical understanding, and ownership. Responsibilities include keeping registrations current, managing maintenance schedules, guiding crews on fleet

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in fleet administration or related roles.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience coordinating repairs, maintenance, and vendors across locations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure fleet registrations are up to date and manage DMV reporting.
• Review DOT infractions and track maintenance schedules.
• Coach crews on fleet safety and maintenance.
• Manage vehicle incidents and insurance claims with HR.
• Coordinate repairs for trucks, equipment, and tools across all locations.
• Communicate fleet needs and status to crews, management, and accounting.
• Provide after-hours support for equipment issues when needed.
• Develop and improve fleet processes and SOPs.
