Job summary

Thrasher Group seeks a Fleet Administrator to support the safety, reliability, and day-to-day operation of our fleet. You’ll coordinate preventative maintenance, manage DOT compliance, work with vendors, track fleet costs, and help our teams keep vehicles, equipment, and tools ready to work.

This fast-paced role requires strong organization, mechanical understanding, and ownership. You’ll work independently, make informed decisions, communicate across the organization, and stay persistent until

Qualifications

• 3+ years in fleet administration or maintenance coordination.
• Strong mechanical understanding; direct repair experience is a plus.
• Experience coordinating repairs, maintenance, and service across locations.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; fleet management systems a plus.
• Independent, organized, and able to manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure fleet registrations are up to date and manage titles.
• Review DOT infractions and maintain DOT schedules with a third-party app.
• Coach crews on fleet safety and maintenance.
• Handle vehicle accidents and process insurance claims with HR.
• Coordinate scheduled maintenance and repairs across locations.
• Set up repairs for trucks, equipment, and tools at all sites.
• Provide on-call support for equipment issues.
• Maintain vendor relationships for priority service.
• Collaborate with Accounting on fleet budgets and costs.
• Communicate fleet needs and status to crews and management.
• Contribute to development of fleet processes and SOPs.
