Job summary

National Technologies (NTI), a Network Connex company, seeks a Fleet Manager to lead the fleet equipment team and drive cost reduction, efficiency, and asset performance across the organization.

You will supervise the Fleet Coordinator, Mechanics, and Yard staff; oversee maintenance programs, regulatory compliance, and data-driven reporting; partner with Operations and the Fleet Director on procurement and disposal strategies to improve service delivery.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma, or GED.
• 3+ years of experience in fleet management or related fields, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Good understanding of vehicle repair processes and fleet operations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in fleet management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards in fleet management.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor the Fleet Coordinator, Mechanics, and Yard Associates, fostering a high-performance work environment.
• Oversee daily fleet operations, ensuring vehicles are maintained, repaired, and ready for use; maintain comprehensive records.
• Perform in-service receipt, registration, and delivery of fleet equipment; track regional trucks, trailers, and fixed assets.
• Review and establish fleet maintenance practices; ensure PMs, calibration programs, and GPS systems are up to date.
• Develop plans to ensure fleet regulatory compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Analyze data, prepare reports, and make recommendations to address fleet-related issues and improve efficiency.
