Job summary

Capgemini in Auburn Hills, MI seeks an Operability Engineer to support day-to-day fleet operations and vehicle-software updates, troubleshoot issues, and assist with validation and root-cause analysis. You will monitor deployments, readiness, and reporting, with 2-3+ years in automotive fleet or diagnostics, hands-on software updates, logs, and CAN-based tools.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years in automotive fleet, vehicle operability, validation or diagnostics.
• Hands-on experience supporting vehicle software updates and fleet readiness.
• Ability to collect logs, reproduce issues, document findings and track actions.
• Experience with software deployments or release validation.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day fleet operations and vehicle software updates.
• Troubleshoot issues and assist with quality investigations.
• Assist with proving-ground activities and root-cause analysis.
• Support software deployments, release validation, and readiness monitoring.
• Maintain status reports and escalate issues as needed.
• Participate in audits and process-improvement activities.
