Job summary

QTC Inc. is seeking an experienced Fleet Mechanic to maintain and repair our trucks, trailers, and construction equipment. You will diagnose problems, perform repairs and preventative maintenance, inspect equipment, and help ensure our fleet is safe and ready for field use.

Qualifications

• Experience as a fleet, diesel, automotive, heavy-equipment, or commercial-vehicle mechanic.
• Experience maintaining trucks and trailers and diagnosing issues.
• Familiarity with DOT vehicle inspection, maintenance, and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on fleet vehicles and equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, brake, suspension, and trailer-related issues.
• Coordinate services and inspections with internal teams or external vendors.
• Maintain accurate maintenance, repair, and service records.
• Communicate repair needs clearly with drivers and management.
