Empire Livestock LLC. seeks an experienced vehicle mechanic to support maintenance and repair of trucks and trailers, ensuring optimal readiness. You will work with other mechanics and supervisors on diagnostics and repairs to minimize downtime.

The role requires 1–3 years of mechanic experience, basic certification/licensing may be needed, and the ability to read, write, and communicate in English. This on-site position emphasizes safety, DOT compliance, and efficient work order execution.

Qualifications

• Requires 1–3 years of mechanic experience or related field.
• May require mechanic certification, CDL license, refrigeration license, or other relevant licenses.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.

Responsabilités

• Perform basic vehicle maintenance, component replacements, and minor repairs.
• Maintain and repair brakes, steering, transmissions, tires, electrical systems, and more.
• Diagnose minor mechanical/electronic problems using diagnostic equipment.
• Complete work orders and paperwork accurately; follow SOPs and safety rules.
• Interact with drivers to assess issues and determine best repairs.
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety policies.
