Job summary

DFamilk is seeking a skilled mechanic to support maintenance and repair of trucks and trailers in a fast-paced shop environment. You will diagnose, repair, and service vehicle systems, and collaborate with drivers and supervisors to resolve issues efficiently.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, component replacements, and documenting work orders while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. Proficiency with diagnostic tools and a team-oriented mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of mechanic or maintenance experience.
• Certification/license such as mechanic, CDL, or refrigeration may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic vehicle maintenance, component replacements and minor repairs.
• Inspect and repair brakes, steering, suspensions, and related truck components.
• Diagnose mechanical/electronic issues using diagnostic equipment.
• Interact with drivers to clarify complaints and ensure proper task scope.
• Complete work orders accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain a safe, clean work area and comply with DOT and safety guidelines.
• Assist in other maintenance and facility duties as needed.
