Truckway Leasing in Cleveland OH seeks a skilled Fleet Diesel Mechanic Technician to maintain trucks and trailers, conduct preventative maintenance, and support service teams. You will interact with customers, document repairs, and deliver equipment as needed.

The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and customer-focused service, with ongoing technician training and a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Preferred experience as a Diesel Technician.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Preferred one year of Fleet or Dealership experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and ensures vehicles are safe for customers and drivers.
• Interacts with customers and handles requests.
• Uses basic computer skills to track and enter repair data.
• Performs preventative maintenance on trucks and trailer equipment.
• Keeps work area clean and safe.
• Learns new skills through Truckway’s technician training.
• Picks up and/or delivers equipment for maintenance.

Responsibilities for Diesel Technicians / Mechanics

• Ensuring vehicles are maintained and safe for customers and drivers
• Interact with customers and handle requests
• Using basic computer skills to track and enter repair data
• Performing preventative maintenance on trucks and trailer equipment
