Truckway Leasing, Inc. is hiring Diesel Technicians / Mechanics to service heavy trucks and trailers at our Cincinnati-area locations. You will diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, and coordinate with customers to ensure timely service.

The role emphasizes reliable workmanship, safety, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment within a regional leasing and maintenance network.

Qualifications

• Diesel engine systems knowledge and diagnostic ability.
• Ability to interact with customers professionally.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in work orders and time entries.
• Comfort with basic computer systems and job logging software.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain class 6, 7, and 8 trucks and trailers.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections.
• Interact with customers and handle customer requests.
• Use diagnostic software to troubleshoot problems.

Qualification for a Diesel Technician / Mechanic

• Previous experience as a Diesel Technician
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Self-motivated and professional
• ASE certification is strongly preferred
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Clean MVR with a Class A or B CDL being a significant plus and pay increase
• Must be able to pass a drug test
• Teammate with a strong sense of dedication to the customer and service team
• Basic computer skills to enter in jobs and bill time in the computer system
• Strong organizational skills
