Truckway Leasing is hiring Diesel Mechanics/Diesel Technicians in the Dayton Area. The role involves maintaining and ensuring the safety of vehicles, interacting with customers, performing preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting various components. Candidates ideally have experience as a Diesel Technician and a clean driving record with CDL qualification being a plus. Qualifications

• Preferred experiences as a Diesel Technician.
• Clean MVR with a Class A or B CDL is a significant plus.
• Preferred one year of Fleet or Dealership experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring vehicles are maintained and safe for customers and drivers.
• Interact with customers and handle requests.
• Performing preventative maintenance on trucks and trailer equipment.
• Repairing and troubleshooting components.
• Perform vehicle diagnostics.

1St and 2nd Shifts Available

Tuesday - Saturday 7:00 AM -3:00 PM

Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Monday - Friday 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Responsibilities For Diesel Mechanics / Diesel Technicians

• Ensuring vehicles are maintained and safe for customers and drivers
• Interact with customers and handle requests
• Using basic computer skills to track and enter repair data
• Performing preventative maintenance on trucks and trailer equipment
• Repairing and troubleshooting components such as engines, transmissions, and chassis components
• Keep the work area clean and safe
• Perform vehicle diagnostics
• Learn new skills through Truckway’s technician training
• Pick up and/or deliver equipment for maintenance
  
  
  

Qualifications For Diesel Mechanics / Diesel Technicians

• Must have at least 3 years of experiences as a Diesel Mechanic
• Clean MVR with a Class A or B CDL being a significant plus and pay increase
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Must be able to work independently
• Teammate with a strong sense of dedication to the customer and service team
