Job summary

Truckway Leasing, Inc. seeks an experienced Diesel Technician to repair and maintain large trucks and trailers. The role involves customer interaction, diagnostic troubleshooting, and routine maintenance in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or equivalent, experience as a Diesel Technician, and may hold ASE certification. On-site work with comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience as a Diesel Technician; ASE certification preferred.
• One year of fleet or dealership experience preferred.
• Strong deadline and detail orientation; fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated, professional, and team-oriented with customer focus.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain class 6, 7, and 8 Trucks and Trailers
• Perform routine maintenance
• Interact with customers and handle customer requests

Job description

Shift: Monday – Thursday: 3pm to 1130pm
Friday: 1pm to 930pm
Saturday: 7am to 330pm - Will have every other Saturday off and another day through the week

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain class 6,7, and 8 Trucks and Trailers
• Perform routine maintenance.
• Interact with customers and handle customer requests.
• Use Diagnostic software to troubleshoot problems.
• Qualification
• Previous experience as a Diesel Technician
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Self-motivated and professional
• ASE certification is strongly preferred.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Clean MVR
• Class A or B CDL a plus
• Teammate with a strong sense of dedication to the customer and service team
• Basic computer skills to enter jobs and bill time in the computer system.
