Vestis® invites you to join our Fleet Maintenance team in a role focused on preventative maintenance and repairs of fleet vehicles. You’ll work under the Lead Mechanic or management, keeping delivery vans and company cars in top condition.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of fleet vehicle repair experience.
• High School Diploma or GED; Associate degree preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced shop environment.
• Collaborative, team-oriented demeanor.
• Schedule flexibility to include days, evenings, and/or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintain fleet vehicles with focus on Preventative Maintenance programs to meet 100% compliance.
• Utilize the AVMS fleet management computer system to track shop operations.
• Assist with cost control through purchasing and inventory management, and safety training.
• Ensure shop meets OSHA and DOT standards and Vestis standards.
• Perform repairs on delivery vans and company vehicles; diagnose and repair engines, brakes, electrical, suspension, and lift gates.
• Document repairs and inspections per guidelines; follow safe, efficient practices.
• Support extensive repairs as needed based on experience.
