Job summary

Vestis Corporation is hiring for a Fleet Technician in California. You will maintain our fleet with a focus on preventive maintenance, track operations in AVMS, and help control costs through smart purchasing and inventory practices. Work includes safety training and ensuring DOT/OSHA standards are met.

Two years of fleet repair experience and an automotive background are preferred. The role requires flexibility for day/evening/weekend shifts and on-site work in a busy shop environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of DOT regulations and state vehicle laws to meet standards.
• Experience with preventive maintenance and vehicle safety programs.
• Ability to multi task in a fast-paced shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain fleet vehicles and Preventative Maintenance programs to 100% compliance.
• Use AVMS to track shop operation duties and costs.
• Assist with purchasing, inventory control, and safety training.
• Inspect and repair vehicles, ensuring OSHA and DOT compliance.
• Document repairs and inspections per company guidelines.
• Perform duties safely and efficiently; support extended repairs as needed.
