Quality Enterprises is seeking a Fleet Mechanic to maintain and repair fleet vehicles under supervision, ensuring safety and reliability of the company fleet assets.

The role involves routine maintenance, inspections, diagnostics support for senior mechanics, and proper record-keeping in the fleet management system. A strong emphasis on safety, PPE usage, and timely work orders is required.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of automotive systems and repair techniques.
• Ability to use standard automotive tools and equipment.
• Experience with fleet or commercial vehicles preferred.
• ASE certification in A or T series preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
• Conduct basic vehicle inspections and identify potential issues.
• Assist senior mechanics with more complex repairs and diagnostics.
• Review DOT/DVIR requests and coordinate repair schedule with dispatch and drivers to ensure safety and minimize downtime.
• Learn and apply proper repair techniques for various vehicle systems.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE.
• Record maintenance activities in the fleet management system.
• Complete work orders and logs accurately and timely.
