Job summary

Keurig Dr Pepper in Toledo, OH is hiring a Fleet Mechanic III to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a fleet of light and heavy vehicles, trailers, vans and forklifts. You will diagnose, overhaul components, document work and manage parts inventory.

The position runs Monday through Friday, 5:00am–1:30pm with overtime and weekend flexibility. The role also includes mentoring junior mechanics and pursuing required ASE/CDL certifications within the first year.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 1 year of fleet mechanic experience.
• Experience with diesel trucks, electric and propane forklifts.
• Able to lift, push, and pull at least 50 pounds.
• Must provide own tools for the job.
• Willing to obtain ASE Heavy/Medium duty, CDL A, DOT brake/annual inspection, and A/C certifications within the first year.

About the Role

Shift and Schedule

• Monday-Friday
• 5:00am-1:30pm or to when the work is complete
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed

Total Rewards

• Pay starting at $34.42 per hour. The employee will move to a higher rate of $36.29 per hour in the quarter after their 6 month anniversary

Requirements

• High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred
• 1 year or more of mechanic experience on a fleet
• Must be able to work on all types of vehicles (diesel trucks, electric and propane forklift, etc...)
• Lift, push, and pull a minimum of 50 pounds
• Able to supply your own set of tools to perform the job
• Willing and able to acquire the necessary certifications and licenses needed for the position within the first year of employment to include: ASE Heavy and Medium duty certification, DOT Commercial Driver’s License (CDL A), DOT brake and annual inspection certification, and A/C certification
