Job summary

SRM Concrete is seeking a Fleet Mechanic to maintain mixer trucks and other heavy equipment across our nationwide network. You will perform routine maintenance, diagnose issues, and ensure safety and reliability of our fleet.

We welcome entry-level applicants and provide on-the-job training. Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems is preferred; CDL may be helpful. Competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical certification in diesel engine repair is a plus.
• Strong understanding of diesel engines, hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and perform reliable repairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on diesel engines and equipment, including oil changes and filter replacements.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in mixer trucks and heavy equipment.
• Use diagnostic tools to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
• Rebuild, replace, or repair major components such as engine heads, blocks, starters, and transmissions.
• Collaborate with operations to schedule maintenance and minimize downtime.
• Maintain safety policies and accurate records of maintenance work.
