Job summary

zTrip is seeking a motivated Mechanic to join our growing fleet maintenance team. You will perform preventative maintenance, inspections, tire service, and repairs to keep our transportation operations safe and efficient. This is a 2nd Shift role with weekend availability based on business needs.

You will work with experienced mechanics and supervisors to complete repairs and maintain accurate records. We offer hands-on training, full-time employment, a team-oriented environment, and a benefits

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of mechanical, automotive, or related maintenance experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair procedures
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Bilingual skills are a plus

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on fleet vehicles
• Conduct vehicle inspections to ensure safety and regulatory compliance
• Complete oil changes, fluid checks, filter replacements, and general mechanical repairs
• Repair and replace tires as needed
• Diagnose and address basic mechanical issues
• Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
• Work closely with fellow mechanics and supervisors to complete repairs efficiently
• Follow all company safety policies and maintenance procedures
• Assist in minimizing vehicle downtime through timely service and repairs
