Job summary

Ruppert Landscape is seeking a Mechanic to maintain and service our in‑house fleet, including trucks, mowers, and landscape tools. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and keep detailed service records to support safe, efficient operations.

Ideal candidates bring hands‑on mechanical experience and a safety‑minded approach, with the ability to work on gas/diesel equipment and contribute to a high‑quality, customer‑focused operation.

Qualifications

• Safety-first mindset with adherence to safety regulations.
• Minimum of one year of hands-on mechanical experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with gas/diesel vehicles and landscaping equipment.
• Ability to supply personal tools as needed.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of fleet vehicles and equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance to keep vehicles reliable and safe.
• Recondition vehicles twice a year to meet image standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment.
• Document and maintain service records accurately.
• Provide excellent internal customer service and teamwork.
