Job summary

Ruppert Landscape seeks a Mechanic to join our in-house fleet team. The role focuses on diagnosing, repairing, and servicing a wide range of vehicles and equipment, including diesel/gas trucks and landscape machinery.

You will help keep our operations safe, efficient, and on schedule. The position requires at least one year of hands-on mechanical experience, strong aptitude with gas/diesel engines and landscaping tools, and a safety-first mindset.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of hands-on mechanical experience.
• Experience with diesel engines and landscaping equipment preferred.
• Ability to supply personal tools as needed to perform the role.
• Safety-first mindset with commitment to safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of fleet vehicles and equipment.
• Recondition vehicles and equipment twice a year to meet company image and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment.
• Accurately document and maintain service and repair records.
• Provide exceptional internal customer service, prioritizing efficiency and quality.
• Assist with other operational tasks as assigned.
