Zusammenfassung

Republic Services is seeking an Maintenance Shop Technician B in Huntington, WV to perform repair and maintenance on diesel and non-diesel fleet equipment, including chassis, refuse bodies, hydraulic and electrical systems, and HVAC. You will diagnose multi-system issues, perform preventative maintenance, and provide occasional road service to keep the fleet operating safely and efficiently.

With 3–5 years of technician experience or an automotive program nearing completion, you will work under

Qualifikationen

• Diagnose multi-system issues on heavy/medium trucks and equipment.
• Understand and apply work-order labor time standards.
• Experience with maintenance on Class 1–5 trucks or equivalent; ASE a plus.
• ASE Certifications (T1–T8) are a plus; CDL is a plus.
• 3–5 years in a technician role or graduation within 3 months from automotive program.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Aufgaben

• Perform preventive and repair maintenance on fleet equipment onsite and on the road.
• Repair chassis components, refuse bodies, hydraulic and electrical systems, and braking systems.
• Work on engine, suspension, drive train, steering, HVAC, and related components.
• Welding and fabrication as needed for line work.
• Provide safe road service and ensure equipment is returned to operation.
