Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three (3) years full-time experience as an automotive mechanic.
• Commercial Driver’s License Class B is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs, maintenance, and major overhauls to gas or diesel vehicles, equipment, and trucks.
• Diagnose problems, disassemble engines, and inspect parts for wear or defects.
• Maintain records of materials and time spent on each work order.
• Provide emergency maintenance and preventative maintenance as required.
• Ensure safety and compliance with county policies and regulations.
