Sunway Charters in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking a skilled Mechanic to maintain and repair our fleet. The role involves diagnosing issues, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring safety and compliance.

Candidates should have at least five years of medium/heavy fleet repair experience, diesel and gasoline systems knowledge, and a valid NC driver’s license; CDL Class B preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of medium/heavy fleet repair experience.
• Diesel and gasoline systems knowledge with diagnostics.
• ASE Master Truck Technician and EPA 608/609 certifications preferred.
• Own tools are required.
• Valid NC driver's license with clean record.
• DOT pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check.
• Class B CDL desirable.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, repair, replace, and service fleet vehicle systems.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, air brake, and AC issues and repair.
• Verify performance via test drives and system checks.
• Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime.
• Maintain accurate service records for inspections and repairs.
• Ensure compliance with safety, emissions, and regulations.
• Maintain shop cleanliness and safe working environment.
• Complete paperwork accurately and timely.
