Job summary

This role focuses on diagnosing and repairing fleet equipment, performing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, braking and steering systems.

Qualifications

3 years related experience or mechanics school graduate.
Must have a valid driver's license; CDL preferred.
High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
Must be able to drive standard and automatic transmission trucks.
Must be able to read technical manuals and understand schematic diagrams.

Responsibilities

Diagnose problems and perform mechanical repair and maintenance to fleet equipment.
Diagnose faults or malfunctions to determine required repairs using diagnostic equipment.
Perform routine preventative maintenance such as lubricating, oil changes, and failure analysis.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, brakes, and steering problems.
Perform all maintenance operations in accordance with technical specifications, safety, federal and state regulations.
