Job summary

Quality Talent Group is seeking a skilled diesel mechanic to diagnose and repair fleet equipment. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose faults using diagnostic equipment, and address electrical, hydraulic, and braking issues.

A CDL and ability to read schematics will help you succeed in this on-site role. The position requires 3 years of related experience or a mechanics diploma, with a focus on heavy equipment diesel engines and transmissions.

Qualifications

• 3 years' related experience or mechanics certification for heavy equipment diesel engines and transmissions.
• Must have a valid driver's license; CDL preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read technical manuals and read schematic diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose problems and perform mechanical repair and maintenance to fleet equipment.
• Diagnose faults or malfunctions to determine required repairs using diagnostic equipment.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance such as lubricating, oil changes, and failure analysis.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, brakes, and steering problems.
• Perform maintenance per technical specifications and safety regulations.
