Job summary

Quality Talent Group is seeking a qualified technician to maintain a mobile equipment fleet and perform preventative maintenance on heavy industrial machinery, including diesel engines. The role requires diagnosing faults, determining necessary repairs, and ensuring equipment is in a ready state for operations across sites.

The ideal candidate has at least three years of experience with heavy equipment such as Mack trucks, rollers or pavers and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years experience servicing heavy industrial equipment such as Mack fleet trucks, rollers and/or pavers.
• Experience with diesel equipment.
• Ability to determine the cause of operating errors and to identify solutions.
• Ability to perform routine maintenance on equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the mobile equipment fleet in a state of readiness.
• Perform vehicle/mobile equipment inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Repair diesel engines and replace damaged or worn parts.
• Diagnose faults or malfunctions to determine required repairs.
• Operate and inspect heavy equipment to diagnose defects.
