Job summary

Ansco & Associates, LLC is seeking a Mechanic to perform maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on the company’s fleet of vehicles and equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operation in compliance with standards.

You will determine repair strategies, conduct diagnostics, inspect and recommend proactive maintenance, and perform routine tasks such as oil changes, brake inspections, and tire rotations while keeping a clean, safe workspace.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a mechanic, preferably with fleet vehicles or commercial equipment.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Proficient in diagnostic tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Determine repair or maintenance plans for vehicles and equipment based on cost/benefit analysis.
• Conduct diagnostics to troubleshoot failures in vehicles and equipment.
• Inspect and provide strategic recommendations for proactive maintenance.
• Follow work procedures for the repair and maintenance of vehicles and equipment.
• Dismantle, repair, and reassemble vehicles, trailers, and heavy equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake inspections, and tire rotations.
• Ensure vehicles are clean and fueled at all times.
• Operate and test vehicles and equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Maintain a clean and orderly workspace.
• Other duties as assigned.
