Job summary

North Sky Communications, LLC is seeking an experienced Mechanic to maintain and repair the company’s fleet of vehicles and equipment. You’ll diagnose issues, plan maintenance, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance across the operation.

The role requires tools, a valid US driver's license, and the ability to work on-site with a strong focus on reliability and efficiency. This hands-on position offers growth and stability within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools and fleet maintenance practices.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with a range of tools.

Responsibilities

• Determine repair or maintenance plans based on cost/benefit analysis.
• Conduct diagnostics to troubleshoot failures in vehicles and equipment.
• Inspect and provide strategic recommendations for proactive maintenance.
• Follow work procedures for repair and maintenance of vehicles and equipment.
• Dismantle, repair, and reassemble vehicles, trailers, and heavy equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake inspections, and tire rotations.
• Ensure vehicles are clean and fueled at all times.
• Operate and test vehicles and equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Maintain a clean and orderly workspace.
• Other duties as assigned
