Job summary

Albertsons Companies is seeking a Fleet Mechanic to maintain and repair company power equipment, including tractors, trailers, refrigerated units and APUs. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and coordinate repairs with shop staff to keep operations running smoothly.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in fleet or commercial maintenance, strong safety practices, and the ability to work independently or with a team.

Qualifications

• Experience repairing fleet equipment including trailers and refrigeration units.
• Familiarity with forklift and conveyor repairs, welding, and basic electrical maintenance.
• Demonstrated ability to assess equipment integrity against safety and operational standards.

Responsibilities

• Schedules and completes daily maintenance tasks with limited supervision.
• Reviews inspection logs to prioritize service needs and ensure compliance.
• Monitors inventory levels and organizes tools and parts for efficient shop workflow.
