Job summary

Alsco Uniforms is seeking a Fleet Mechanic to perform routine and complex repairs on fleet vehicles, ensuring safe and reliable operation. You will troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems, conduct road tests, and maintain DOT and maintenance documentation.

A CDL and 3+ years of fleet experience are required, with opportunities for professional growth. Work is performed in a maintenance environment with exposure to automotive fluids and moving parts; clean, organized workspaces and safety

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication in English.
• Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record.
• Minimum 3 years of automotive repair and fleet maintenance experience.
• Ability to provide and maintain required tools where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex repairs and preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles per regulations and specs.
• Troubleshoot diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical systems; road test vehicles.
• Inspect and maintain vehicle systems including hydraulic, air conditioning, powertrain, brakes, and electrical.
• Complete documentation: DOT records, inspection and repair orders, PM schedules; order parts as needed.
• Maintain readiness and minimize downtime; collaborate with plant and operations teams.
