Job summary

Waste Pro USA in Conroe, Texas seeks an experienced A Technician to diagnose and repair engine, transmission, brake, suspension, electrical, hydraulic, and body systems on refuse and recycling trucks, including gasoline, diesel, and CNG platforms. Welding and fabrication skills may be required.

You will work under the Maintenance Supervisor to service Mack, IHC, Autocar, Heil, McNeilus vehicles, perform safety checks, complete paperwork, and uphold OSHA standards while maintaining a clean, safe

Qualifications

Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, and electrical systems.
Read and interpret service manuals and wiring diagrams.
Operate vehicle computer systems for fault code interpretation.
Maintain OSHA safety compliance and clean work area.
Mentor and support shop technicians as needed.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair a fleet of refuse and recycling vehicles.
Perform inspections and routine maintenance on class 8 vehicles.
Utilize factory service manuals to guide repairs.
Complete required paperwork accurately and timely.
Follow all safety policies and procedures and keep work area clean and organized.
Support coworkers to work safely and efficiently.
