Job summary
Xcel Energy is hiring a Fleet Mechanic B for the Service Center in Denver, Colorado. You will inspect, service and repair vehicles and related equipment, primarily in garages with some field work.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
- Trade or technical training in automotive/heavy equipment maintenance.
- 3 years of continuous work history in automotive/truck field.
- CDL Class A or ability to obtain within 3 months.
- 6 ASE Automotive/Truck certifications or equivalents.
- Ability to read English, perform basic math and basic computer skills.
Responsibilities
- Inspect, service, repair and maintain vehicles, trailers, aerials and other power operated equipment.
- Work primarily in company service garages with occasional field work.
- Collaborate in a team or work independently with minimal supervision.
- Frequent lifting; ability to lift over 50 pounds.
- Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, air conditioning, gasoline and diesel systems.
