Xcel Energy is seeking a Fleet Mechanic B in Denver, CO. You will inspect, service, repair and maintain vehicles, trailers, and other power-operated equipment in garages and on job sites. The role requires CDL Class A or the ability to obtain one within 3 months, ASE certifications, and strong safety awareness.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Trade school diploma or degree in automotive truck/heavy equipment service repair preferred or 3 years of equivalent experience.
• CDL Class A or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire.
• Six current ASE Automotive or Truck certifications or 6 equivalent certifications.
• Must read/understand English, perform basic math, and have basic computer skills.
• Must furnish standard/metric tools per fleet app.
• Strong safety awareness and commitment.

Responsabilités

• Inspect, service, repair and maintain vehicles, trailers, aerials and other power operated equipment.
• Work in company service garages and occasional field job sites.
• Diagnose and perform minor to major repairs on electrical, hydraulic, air conditioning, gasoline and diesel systems.
• Collaborate in a team environment or work independently with minimal supervision.
