Xcel Energy in Denver, Colorado, is seeking a Fleet Mechanic B to inspect, service, repair, and maintain vehicles, trailers, and power equipment in our service centers and on job sites.

You will work in a team or independently, with emphasis on safety, quality, and customer service. The role requires lifting over 50 pounds and diagnosing electrical, hydraulic, A/C, and diesel systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3 years of continuous work history in automotive/truck field.
• CDL Class A license or ability to obtain within 3 months.
• 6 ASE Automotive or Truck certifications or equivalent.
• Ability to read English, perform basic math, and use basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, service, repair and maintain vehicles, trailers and power operated equipment.
• Work in company service garages and field sites, individually or in teams.
• Diagnose electrical, hydraulic, air conditioning, gasoline and diesel systems.
• Perform minor to major repairs with attention to safety and quality.
