Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an Auto Mechanic B or equivalent.
• Intermediate welding skills.
• Valid Florida driver's license and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle preventative maintenance duties.
• Complete repair assignments for City fleet vehicles.
• Mentor Auto Mechanics B and Apprentices.

Knowledge of safe work techniques

Knowledge of materials used in fleet maintenance

Knowledge of job-related software

Education

ASE certification in brakes, A/C recovery, electrical system
