Job summary

Coca-Cola Bottling Company UNITED is seeking a Fleet Mechanic 2 to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair our fleet of class 1-8 diesel and gasoline trucks, trailers, pallet jacks, and forklifts. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose mechanical and electronic issues, and support parts ordering while upholding safety and GMP guidelines.

Ideal candidates are at least 21 years old with a solid work record, good attendance, and the ability to obtain CDL A within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years old
• Must have three years as a vehicle mechanic (verifiable)
• Must own tools for cars and large trucks
• Must obtain CDL A within 30 days after hire
• Must pass company physical and DOT physical
• Must pass company driving tests before/after training

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on fleet equipment
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electronic issues
• Repair major components and rebuild as needed
• Provide emergency roadside service when required
• Order parts and manage stock inventory
• Complete electronic work orders in the maintenance system
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace following GMPs
