Job summary

Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company, LLC is seeking a Fleet Mechanic 2 to maintain and repair our fleet, including class 1-8 diesel and gasoline trucks, trailers, pallet jacks and forklifts. This role involves preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and roadside service as needed.

You will order parts, document usage, manage stock, and support teammates with repairs while maintaining safety and compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18 years old.
• Class A CDL preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to operate hand tools and shop equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on fleet equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electronic malfunctions and perform repairs.
• Complete electronic work orders and document maintenance data.
• Assist team with troubleshooting and parts research.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment following GMPs.
