Job summary

Coca-Cola UNITED is hiring a Fleet Mechanic 2 in the Atlanta division. You will maintain and repair Class 1-8 diesel and gasoline trucks, trailers, pallet jacks, and forklifts, performing preventive maintenance and inspections.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, part ordering, and documenting work orders in our maintenance system. A strong safety record and ability to work with a team are essential; CDL preferred, high school diploma or GED required.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18; valid driver’s license; ability to read, write and speak English.
• High school diploma or GED required; 3+ years related experience or training preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems on fleet equipment.
• Own hand tools and the ability to operate common shop equipment safely.
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, or flexible schedule as required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair Class 1-8 diesel/gasoline trucks, trailers, pallets, and forklifts.
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on fleet equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electronic malfunctions and perform repairs or replacements.
• Research and order parts; record usage and stock inventory.
• Complete electronic work orders and document information in the maintenance system.
• Assist teammates with troubleshooting and parts research; ensure safety compliance.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment following GMP guidelines.
