Job summary

Coca-Cola UNITED is seeking a Fleet Mechanic 2 in Chattanooga to maintain and repair company fleet equipment, including Class 1-8 diesel/gas trucks, trailers, pallet jacks, and forklifts. You will perform PMs, diagnose issues, complete road service, order parts, and document work orders in our maintenance system.

Candidates must be at least 21, pass company physical, maintain a good safety record, and have own tools for cars and large trucks. CDL-A within 30 days is required after hire.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass the Company physical.
• Must have own tools for cars and large trucks.
• Must be able to obtain CDL A within 30 days after hire.
• Must have a neat appearance.
• Must be able to pass DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Perform various preventative maintenance tasks and inspections on all types of fleet equipment.
• Troubleshoots mechanical and electronic malfunctions, perform repairs and component rebuilds/replacements.
• Perform emergency roadside services as needed.
• Research and order parts, record usage, and manage stock inventory.
• Complete electronic work orders and document information in the computerized maintenance system.
• Assist team members with troubleshooting, parts research, and equipment inspections.
