Job summary

US Foods, Inc. is hiring Fleet Mechanics to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on diesel fleet equipment, including tractors, trailers, and lift gates, at our maintenance facility in Missouri. You will assist senior technicians and document all repairs using the fleet maintenance tablet.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of verifiable hands-on experience as a heavy-duty commercial diesel mechanic.
• Must furnish own personal hand tools.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferred: Valid Class A CDL and DOT certification, Maximo experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance within DOT standards.
• Complete repairs on diesel equipment (tractors, trailers, bobtails, lift gates).
• Assist senior technicians with repairs.
• Document repairs and parts used in fleet maintenance system tablet.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow safety regulations.
• Willing to pursue increased responsibilities and certifications.
