US Foods is seeking a Fleet Mechanic in Seabrook, NH to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on diesel fleet equipment. You will work from inside a US Foods maintenance facility, documenting repairs with the Maximo system and assisting senior technicians.

The role requires at least 1 year of hands-on diesel mechanic experience, a valid driver’s license, and readiness to work a schedule that may involve varying shifts. Tool allowance and benefits are highlighted in the posting.

Qualifications

• 1 year of verifiable hands-on experience as a heavy-duty commercial diesel mechanic.
• Must be able to read and write legibly and attend trainings; basic math skills required.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsabilités

• Perform preventative maintenance within DOT standards.
• Complete all required repairs on diesel equipment (tractors, trailers, bobtails, lift gates, etc.).
• Take directions from and assist senior technicians with repairs.
• Utilize fleet maintenance system tablet to document equipment repairs and parts used.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with workplace safety rules/regulations.
• Willingness and capacity to assume increased responsibility and certifications.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.

The expected base rate for this role is between $35 and $40.
