Job summary

General Dynamics Electric Boat in Groton/New London area seeks a D411 Fleet Material Program Representative to manage material support for Ship Alterations. The role collaborates with Materials Management, Finance, Contracts, Engineering and NAVSEA partners, driving cost control and schedule alignment.

The successful candidate will coordinate cross-functional tasks, monitor budgets, and support program office goals while traveling as needed to vendor sites and WEO locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of related experience in financial management, contract management, procurement, planning, or logistics.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance
• Demonstrated experience in project management

Responsibilities

• Balance project budgets and generate financial metrics
• Strategic planning of tasking to ensure material meets install need dates
• Utilize ARTEMIS to track cost and schedule progress
• Act as a liaison with internal stakeholders and external customers
• Occasional travel may be required, including Washington Engineering Office in Washington DC, vendor locations, and off-site EB locations
