Job summary

General Dynamics Electric Boat in Groton, CT is seeking an on-site Detail Planner/Production Controller to support multiple programs, including Virginia Class, SSW, Columbia Focus Factory, and Delivered Ship availability.

Responsibilities include drawing reviews, MRP loads, product structuring, and work order management, interfacing with multiple departments to ensure safety, quality, cost, schedule, and process improvement.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1-5 years of experience in Trade/Shipyard/Military/Planning/Scheduling.
• Proficient Computer Skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform detail planning and/or production control tasks including drawing reviews and MRP file loads.
• Coordinate load of SWSS and CPJ, manage work orders, and expedite software/hardware as needed.
• Interface with Operations, Engineering, Design, Materials, Configuration Management, Quality, and other support groups.
• Represent planning at Construction statuses and participate in process improvement and program reviews.
