Job summary

World Group, through ContainerPort Group, is seeking a Fleet Manager for our new Dallas terminal. You will be the direct link between drivers and customers, building trust and supporting day-to-day operations.

You will supervise owner-operators, monitor delivery performance, coordinate loads, and negotiate rates, ensuring on-time service while maximizing efficiency and compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of intermodal/container transportation experience.
• Working knowledge of DOT regulations.
• Experience working with fleet of contractors/owner-operators.
• Exemplary customer service and interpersonal skills."
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and supervision of owner-operators.
• Monitor delivery performance and fleet profitability.
• Assign equipment as needed and optimize load distribution.
• Negotiate rates with contractors and manage contractor relationships.
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety policies.
• Coordinate training for the fleet of contractors.
