ContainerPort Group, a World Group company, is seeking a dedicated Fleet Manager for our new growing terminal in Atlanta, GA. You will be the direct link between drivers and customers, building trust and supporting day-to-day operations to maximize on-time service.

The role requires experience managing owner-operators, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving performance and profitability. Join a growing team with strong vendor relationships and a focus on safe, efficient deliveries.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of intermodal/container transportation experience.
• Working knowledge of DOT regulations.
• Experience working with fleet of contractors/owner operators.
• Exemplary customer service and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and supervise our fleet of owner-operators.
• Monitor and ensure delivery performance and fleet profitability.
• Assign equipment as needed and maximize efficiency.
• Oversee fair distribution of loads among contractors.
• Plan and execute deliveries for efficient load drop-offs and pickups.
• Coordinate with Customer Success team regarding loads.
• Negotiate rates with contractors outside ICOA.
• Develop relationships with contractors to improve performance and retention.
• Ensure compliance with DOT and related regulations.
