Independence TX LLC is seeking an experienced Fleet Manager to keep frac sand mining and processing operations safe and efficient. You will manage mobile equipment, coordinate inspections, oversee repairs, and maintain parts inventory in mining and related environments.

The role emphasizes fleet readiness, reduced downtime, accurate maintenance records, and compliance with MSHA and company safety standards.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience managing or maintaining mobile equipment, vehicles, or heavy industrial fleet assets.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
• Proficiency using diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, decision-making, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily fleet operations and ensure mobile equipment is maintained and ready for use.
• Perform routine vehicle and equipment inspections to identify worn or damaged parts, components, or systems.
• Assign work orders to mechanics for repairs or replacement of defective parts (engines, fuel systems, exhaust, cooling, electrical).
• Test-drive vehicles or equipment to verify repairs and proper operation.
• Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.
• Maintain, order, and audit parts inventory to support efficient repairs and minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with plant leadership, maintenance, operations, and other departments to support efficient operations and customer satisfaction.
• Follow safety protocols and ensure fleet equipment is maintained in compliance with MSHA and company standards.
