Job summary

Faris Machinery, headquartered in Commerce City, CO, is seeking a growth-minded Fleet Manager to own the end-to-end lifecycle of 200–400 machines, from acquisition to disposition, and to drive utilization, uptime, and financial performance across rental and sales fleets.

In this on-site role near Denver, you will lead fleet operations, coordinate with Service, Parts, Yard and Sales, ensure DOT and safety compliance, and deliver measurable results like utilization, uptime and revenue per asset.

• Experience managing heavy equipment or rental fleets.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of equipment maintenance.
• Ability to prioritize and execute in a fast-paced, operational environment.
• Experience with fleet systems, maintenance tracking, and performance metrics.
• Customer-focused mindset with cross-functional communication skills.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end accountability for fleet execution.
• Own the full lifecycle of fleet assets—from acquisition to disposition.
• Drive utilization, uptime, and availability across all equipment.
• Manage maintenance schedules, inspections, and repair prioritization.
• Coordinate daily with Service, Parts, Yard, and Sales teams.
• Oversee dispatch, readiness, and equipment availability for rentals and sales.
• Monitor fleet performance, operating cost, and ROI.
• Ensure compliance with DOT, safety, and company policies.
• Lead Fleet Coordinator execution and accountability.
• Ensure accurate rental billing and full revenue capture.
• Key Performance Indicators tracking.
• Deliver measurable results like Fleet Utilization, Availability, Uptime, Idle Days Between Rentals, Repair Turnaround Time, Rental Revenue per Asset.
