Qualifications

• 2+ years in professional work setting, 1+ years Transportation/Supply Chain preferred.
• Strong computer skills in Windows environment including Outlook, Excel and Word.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized and able to interact effectively at all levels, both internally and externally.
• Proven track record of making rational decisions in routine and emergency situations.
• Ability to handle high volumes of inbound email and calls.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships as coaches and advocates for drivers across multiple fleets.
• Engage fleet to support career success and personal growth.
• Review scheduled pick-up and delivery to ensure adequate hours of service.
• Inform drivers of customer and company expectations with each freight assignment.
• Route drivers for home time and assist in securing equipment at authorized locations.
• Motivate drivers to hit KPIs such as utilization, service, safety, retention and optimization.
• Counsel drivers who violate safety standards or DOT regulations and arrange retraining as needed.
• Communicate service disruptions to internal teams to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Provide leadership and support to assigned drivers and teams.
• Deliver real-time data to load planning systems for tracking and tracing.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
