Job summary

Einride is seeking a Fleet Manager for our DACH Operations to drive the electric transformation. You will work hands-on with heavy EV trucks, support workshops, and coordinate maintenance to maximize uptime for our customers and partners in Germany or Austria.

You will build strong partner relations, align with planners and carriers, review invoices for hardware, and participate in deployment projects at new sites. Fluency in German and English is required.

• Review and process hardware-related invoices.
• Participate in deployment projects for new customer sites, providing hardware expertise and go-live support.
• Conduct on-site visits to workshops, carriers and customers.

As a Fleet Manager in our DACH Operations team, you will play a hands-on role in driving the electric transformation. You’ll work directly with cutting-edge heavy electric truck technology, supporting our workshops and partners to maximize fleet uptime as we scale.

You will:

• Coordinate & troubleshoot: Manage repairs, maintenance and troubleshooting for heavy electric trucks (EVs), trailers and equipment.
• Partner relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with external workshops, dealers and service partners.
• Operational alignment: Collaborate closely with transport planners and carriers to align maintenance windows with customer transport needs.
• Uptime & documentation: Track vehicle uptime, document maintenance records and **escalate** recurring technical issues.
• Financial oversight: Review, approve and handle hardware-related invoices.
• Deployment support: Participate in deployment projects for new customer sites, providing hardware expertise and go-live support.
• On-site presence: Conduct occasional site visits to workshops, carriers and customers.

We expect you to:

• Hands-on experience working with heavy-duty vehicles (EV experience is a strong plus).
• Strong collaboration and communication skills; comfortable interacting with drivers, technical partners and internal teams.
• Practical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities for daily operational challenges.
• Comfortable navigating digital tools and fleet management systems.
• Fluency in both German and English.

Nice to have:

• Previous experience in a fleet manager or vehicle maintenance role
• Driver's license C/CE & B

Compensation:

The minimum gross salary for this position is EUR 45.000 per year. We are prepared to offer a higher salary depending on your qualifications and experience.
